Extraction & Packaging Summary of Functions:
Operates machine that crushes ice and thaw frozen juice products.
Monitor the process of juice drums follow essential duties:
Major Duties and
Responsibilities:
Efficiently process juice drums, ensuring they contain no more than 90% of ice.
Properly set up steam and air lines as well as the temperature control panel to achieve the final juice temperature of less than 35-degrees Fahrenheit before initiating machine operation.
Vigilantly monitor the temperature of juice drums to maintain quality standards, ensuring temperatures do not exceed 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove nuts, bolts and lids from drums to have them ready to process.
Manage the drum washer conveyor to clean empty drums, including removing old labels and stocking clean drums on wood pallets for storage.
Operating line machine to fill empty drums with product and carefully sealing drums for safe storage and transport.
Ensure free flow information with Ice Crusher/Chopper Operator and Production Supervisor.
Ensure safe operations through adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety programs and procedures.
Food Safety Requirements/
Responsibilities:
Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
Conduct all verification activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality Organizational Relationships:

Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.
